Suffering I silenced the grievances, Biting my lips I made them bleed. I know that in this I offend you, But what they go about saying I cannot keep silent. Yell at me that I am a coward, With these boasts That cause horror. But look me in the face, That because of you I'm like this With my pain. Look me in the face Let your eyes say Why are you so cruel. Look me in the face Or blind with anger I'm going to lose myself. Take away this doubt That makes my life bitter With a thirst to kill. Look me in the face That I want everything To know the truth. I can't live this way, Fearing that everyone Will laugh at me. Though my gesture may astonish you I defend my name The one I gave you one day. Tell me no, it's a lie That no one is looking at you Stealing your love. And if it's true, shout it out Without thinking of my pain, It will be better.
