Agostina Tarchini is a tango dancer. The dossier's sources cover two kinds of activity: competition in the Tango Escenario (stage tango) category of the Mundial de Tango, and performances with a number of partners documented in video recordings. [2][4]

In competition, Tarchini appeared in Tango Escenario at the Mundial in 2013 with Facundo Ruiz Díaz and in 2014 with Sebastián Fernández. [2][3] In 2017 Tarchini won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango Escenario category with Axel Arakaki. [4]

Later recordings show Tarchini performing with Sebastián Jiménez at the Sarajevo Tango Festival in 2025 and with Mariano Messad in Barcelona in March 2026. [5][6]

Competition history

Tarchini competed in the Tango Escenario category of the Mundial de Tango in 2013, partnered by Facundo Ruiz Díaz. [2] A recording of their performance is titled "Mundial de Tango Escenario 2013 Agostina Tarchini y Facundo Ruiz Diaz". [2]

In 2014 Tarchini again competed in Tango Escenario at the Mundial, this time with Sebastián Fernández. [3] The sources record participation in 2013 and 2014 but do not state a placing for either year. [2][3]

In 2017 Tarchini won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango Escenario category with Axel Arakaki. [4]

Performances

In 2025 Tarchini performed with Sebastián Jiménez at the Sarajevo Tango Festival. [5] A recording from that festival is titled "Agostina Tarchini and Sebastian Jimenez – Prohibido at Sarajevo Tango Festival 2025". [5]

In March 2026 Tarchini performed with Mariano Messad in Barcelona. [6] The recording is labelled as the third of three show dances at "Por Ese Palpitar" in Barcelona. [6]
