Axel Arakaki

Axel Arakaki is a tango dancer ^[1]. In 2017 he won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango Escenario (stage tango) category, dancing with Agostina Tarchini ^[3].

A video listing records him partnering a number of dancers, including Agostina Tarchini, Hebe Lucía Hernandez and Carolina Aberici ^[1]. Video recordings document him performing in Tokyo with Hebe Lucía Hernández in 2016 and in Japan with Carolina Aberici on 17 May 2026 ^[2][4]. Sources differ on the spelling of the latter partner's surname, which appears as both Aberici and Alberici ^[1][4].

Career

In 2016 Arakaki performed in Tokyo with Hebe Lucía Hernández; the recording of this performance is titled as taking place at Tango Sol Nihombashi ^[2].

In 2017 Arakaki and Agostina Tarchini won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango Escenario category ^[3].

On 17 May 2026 Arakaki performed in Japan with Carolina Aberici ^[4]. The recording of that performance is titled as an event of Salonde Angelica NE・GO・TO, and it gives his partner's name as "CAROLINA ALBERICI" rather than Aberici; sources therefore differ on the spelling of her surname ^[1][4].
