Sebastián Acosta

Sebastián Acosta is a tango dancer who won the Tango de Pista category of the Mundial de Tango in 2014 with Lorena González Cattaneo [3]. He also competed in the Tango Escenario category of the Mundial in 2012 with Camila Danelli [2], and in 2026 he performed with Laura D'Anna at Porteño y Bailarín [4].

Sebastián Acosta is a tango dancer [1]. The available sources document him mainly through his participation in the Mundial de Tango, the world tango dance championship, and through a list of dance partners [1][2][3].

In 2012 Acosta competed in the Tango Escenario (stage tango) category of the Mundial de Tango with Camila Danelli [2]. In 2014 he won the Tango de Pista category of the same championship with Lorena González Cattaneo [3].

A video catalogue lists ten dancers as his partners, among them Laura D'Anna, Agostina Tarchini and Marina Teves [1]. He performed with Laura D'Anna at Porteño y Bailarín in 2026 [4].

Competition career

Acosta's earliest documented competition appearance was at the 2012 Mundial de Tango, where he danced in the Tango Escenario category with Camila Danelli [2]. The source is a video of that performance, and it does not state how the couple placed [2].

In 2014 Acosta won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango de Pista category, partnering Lorena González Cattaneo [3]. The source for this result is an encyclopedia article on the Campeonato Mundial de Baile de Tango [3].

Partners

A video catalogue lists the following dancers as partners of Acosta [1]: - Laura D'Anna [1] - Lorena Gonzalez Cattaneo [1] - Maria Blanco [1] - Agostina Tarchini [1] - Marina Teves [1] - Sofia Guerreiro [1] - Valeria Sol Alvarez [1] - Lorena Gonzales [1] - Sofia Jazmin [1] - Lucia Ohyama [1]
