In your groups I strung myself and in your cooing I fell asleep and I fell asleep alone, duck... and made a fool of myself. Tonight I found the goodbye letter on the pillow where yesterday you swore eternal love to me. Little paper lantern you illuminated my bulín with the friendly and faithful light of loving berretín. Another side you light up today, you went out for me. And here I am in the dark, alone, duck... and a fool. I'm alone... I had nothing but you!... Duck... because you were my world of illusion! I light again the sad cigarette of yesterday to relieve this bitterness that today you give me... You are pretty, you have you look fine... and you are a great person. You promise a world and without giving you say goodbye. You adorn your costume with my heart, and those of others, that in passing your reflection dazzled... But, in the end, you are just Paper Lantern and one night in the best scorched you will fall. You will also bear your cross when they know that you have a lot of smoke and little light, Paper Lantern...
