Haughty and arrogant, like a pagan goddess, you passed by my side showing rancor and since that day I know that I have lost, the ineffable glory of a dream of love. I do not miss your kisses that were feigned, nor do I miss your lips of rare sweetness... nor am I surprised by your enormous falsehood, because they are sisters: woman and betrayal. I only feel of all your anger, the treacherous spell that your eyes have. Eyes that were stars that guided my soul, that rob me of calm if they cruelly deny me when I anxiously seek your loving gaze. Eyes that were the nets where I was a prisoner, I adored you sincere and they have made me a slave, by putting in my soul the blue illusion. But your soul, disdainful and cold, knew no love for my pain. It was your eyes that lied to me as deceitful as that gleam. And now I drag the chain of the sad memory of the beautiful past, to live blissfully in the golden arms of that illusion. Pretend loves are, like a butterfly, like a deceitful butterfly that like a flower they lie to us, they hurt our souls, they take away the essence and leave us pain. But I don't feel the pain of the wound that your black betrayal opened inside my soul, I only feel the pain of the gleam of your eyes, that yesterday looked at me with tender passion.
