Rosas de abril · Alberto Marino · 1949

Castellano

The afternoon that in your eyes I saw the world of my ideal sky, I put all my longings in you and since then I knew how to love. And while in a blue veil the sun shone majestic, I wanted to give you my sighs of love. Your enchanting life I loved when you came close to me, because I seemed to see a heaven of tenderness in you. And from that time, my longings go looking for your passion because it increases my lively emotion. Next to the honeysuckle in bloom your mouth, only mine, was, and in it my affection found the glory I dreamed of. Do you remember, my precious hurí, that your soul, in love, was in all my happy love a rose of April? You are, my good orchard of love, woman for whom my being lived. And if you give me your heart I shall feel the sweet peace of my life.
