Compare with…

Decca Records was established in 1929 by Edward Lewis, who set up an American subsidiary under the same name; it became an independent company just before the Second World War.[1]

In our catalogue Decca issued tango from 1931 to 1957, most of it pressed in the United States, Britain, Finland, the Netherlands and France: Mantovani's orchestra (1940–1954), Pancho and his orchestra (1938–1946), Malando's Dutch tango orchestra (1946–1950) and the Vicente Gómez Quintet (1941–1947).[2]
