Notes1

Ramona was the theme of a 1928 United Artists silent film starring Dolores del Río; the Gene Austin version sold a million records, Paul Whiteman had three weeks at number one, and Gardel recorded it with Enrique Cadícamo's Spanish lyric, Lavocah thinks better than any of the English ones.Single source
