Lyrics

Español

¿Ves? He tratado inútilmente de alejarme y olvidar... ¡No!

English · machine translation

See? I have tried in vain to move away and forget... Today that there are wrinkles on my forehead I feel the loneliness more... Perhaps, when you notice me aging, you'll think I've come to see you because I am desperate... No! The years have taught me to temper my heart... I have not come to beg you not even a little bit of affection nor to explain your silence, your lies or your forgetfulness... It is not possible, old friend, to bring our lives closer... I only came to see you, to see you, nothing more... It won't be long now before I leave with my cross to another corner... I know that when I leave you I'm going to sink in despair. Will it be the emotion of my departure that I would like to give you a kiss even if I leave my life in it? Is it that your tears invite me to kiss you and to cry! I have not come to beg you not even a little bit of affection nor to explain your silence, your lies or your forgetfulness... It is not possible, old friend, to bring our lives closer... I'm leaving now... and here I leave you all my happiness...
