Negracha is dedicated to a group of black women who followed the band and asked for music with more rhythm. It is an exercise in polyrhythm (3-3-2 against four), and goes 'absolutely bananas' at the end. Pugliese dropped it after about a year because it was too modern for his audience; Piazzolla openly said 'I come from Pugliese and his Negracha'.
