Peregrino Paulos

Peregrino Paulos was born in 1889 ^[1]. He is credited as the composer of the tango Inspiración ^[5].

His known activity includes a piece titled El distinguido ciudadano, written for a comedy of that name staged by Roberto Casaux at the Teatro Apolo in 1915 ^[2]. In 1918 Augusto Berto's group premiered his tango 6ª del R. 2 at the café at Avenida de Mayo 899 ^[2].

Paulos died in Buenos Aires on 21 November 1921 ^[3]. One source gives only the year of death, 1921 ^[1]. After his death, Roberto Firpo recorded the tango as Inspiración in 1922 ^[2], and Agustín Magaldi recorded Inspiración with a lyric by Luis Rubistein for Brunswick in 1931 ^[4].
