Arturo Gallucci

Arturo Gallucci was born on 17 January 1909 and died on 23 June 1978 ^[6][5]. He is credited as composer of the tangos Tenía que suceder, Yo soy de San Telmo, Y siempre igual and Frente al espejo ^[7].

The available sources record his writing in collaboration with several partners. These included Enrique Dizeo in 1942, Francisco Bohigas in 1944 and Enrique Lary in 1958 ^[1][3][4]. Several of his works from the 1940s were recorded by the orchestra of Carlos Di Sarli, and one was also recorded by De Angelis ^[2][3].

In 1942 he wrote Cómo se hace un tango with Enrique Dizeo ^[1]. In 1943 he wrote Y siempre igual ^[2]. In 1944 he wrote Cero al as with Francisco Bohigas ^[3]. His collaboration with Enrique Lary on No me supiste amar dates from 1958, which shows he was still writing in the late 1950s ^[4].

Gallucci died on 23 June 1978 ^[5].

Cero al as, which Gallucci wrote with Francisco Bohigas in 1944, was recorded both by Di Sarli and by De Angelis ^[3]. The sources give no recording dates, labels or matrix details for these sides.
