Suyay Quiroga is a tango dancer who won the Tango de Pista category of the Mundial de Tango in 2023 with Jonny Carvajal, dancing to 'Mi dolor' [2]. She has danced with a number of partners [1], gave an exhibition at En lo de Balmaceda in November 2023 [3] and danced with the Orquesta del Tango de Buenos Aires at the Usina del Arte in May 2024 [4].

Suyay Quiroga is a tango dancer [1]. In 2023 she won the Mundial de Tango in the Tango de Pista category with her partner Jonny Carvajal, dancing to 'Mi dolor' [2]. The source for that result gives his first name as 'Jhonny', while other sources spell it 'Jonny', so the spelling differs between sources [2][3].

A video listing associates Quiroga with eleven dance partners: Jonny Carvajal, Cristian Taffarello, Carlos Gavito, Lorena Garcia, Cristhian Sosa, Enrique Simone, Sergio Vega, Alejandro Lencina, Diego Chandia, Luciano Chandia and Aoniken Quiroga [1]. That listing gives no dates for these partnerships [1].

Competition

Quiroga won the Tango de Pista category of the Mundial de Tango in 2023, partnered by Jonny Carvajal [2]. The couple danced to 'Mi dolor' [2]. The competition source spells her partner's name 'Jhonny Carvajal' [2], while the exhibition video title uses 'Jonny Carvajal' [3]. Sources therefore differ on the spelling of his first name [2][3]. The available source gives only the year of the win, not the exact date or the other finalists [2].

Performances

On 23 November 2023 Quiroga and Jonny Carvajal gave an exhibition at En lo de Balmaceda [3]. The video of the performance is titled as the second of three parts [3].

On 17 May 2024 Quiroga danced with the Orquesta del Tango de Buenos Aires at the Usina del Arte [4]. Juan Carlos Cuacci conducted the orchestra on that occasion [4].
