Corina de la Rosa

Corina de la Rosa is a tango dancer whose documented performances include appearances with Julio Balmaceda in Buenos Aires venues such as the Parakultural at Salón Canning, La Manufactura Papelera and La Viruta between 2005 and 2011 [2][3][4][5]. She danced with Rolando Valdivieri at En lo de Balmaceda in 2024 [6] and was interviewed by Ignacio Varchausky for ¿Cuál es tu tango? [7].

Corina de la Rosa is a tango dancer [1]. A dancer index lists her as partnered with Julio Balmaceda, Aurora Lubiz, and dancers recorded under the names Ale Andrian, Alejandro Andrian, Rolando Valdivia and Rolo Valdivieri [1]. Sources differ on the form of some of these partners' names, and the listing does not state whether these name forms refer to the same people [1][6].

The dated record of her activity consists of demonstrations and performances between 2005 and 2024 [2][3][4][5][6], and an interview in 2025 [7]. Most of these performances were with Julio Balmaceda [2][3][4][5]. The available sources do not give biographical details such as her date or place of birth, her training, or a description of her dancing style.

On 17 August 2005, Corina de la Rosa danced Siete palabras with Julio Balmaceda at the Parakultural, Salón Canning [2]. The title of the video recording of this performance associates it with Carlos Di Sarli [2].

On 8 March 2008, she danced with Balmaceda at the closing of a seminar at La Manufactura Papelera [3]. This performance is recorded in a history of demonstrations in the milongas of Buenos Aires [3].

She danced with Balmaceda at Fiesta X, La Viruta, on 30 December 2008 [4]. She danced with him again at Fiesta X, La Viruta, on 20 September 2011 [5].

Later performances

On 27 June 2024, Corina de la Rosa danced with Rolando Valdivieri at En lo de Balmaceda [6]. The title of the video recording of this performance names the piece as El Huracán and associates it with Donato [6].

- Julio Balmaceda [1] - Aurora Lubiz [1] - Ale Andrian and Alejandro Andrian, listed as separate entries [1] - Rolando Valdivia and Rolo Valdivieri, listed as separate entries [1]

The 2024 performance record gives the partner's name as Rolando Valdivieri [6]. Because sources differ on these name forms, the variants are recorded here as given and are not merged [1][6].
