Pablo Inza

Pablo Inza is a tango dancer whose documented career runs from the early 1990s to the mid-2020s ^[2][7]. One source dates his start in tango to 1992 and notes that another source places it at about 1990, so the sources differ on when he began ^[2]. He received his first invitations to teach and perform at festivals in 1999 ^[2].

In 2004 Inza co-founded Practica X with Raúl Masciocchi and Gabriel Bortnik ^[3]. On 30 January 2007 Inza danced with Eugenia Parrilla at Practica X, Anchorena 641 ^[4]. Practica X closed in January 2013, after almost nine years ^[3].

Inza continued to teach and organise after Practica X closed. He started Practica Brava in Berlin with Laura Lorenzi for the 2023-24 season ^[6]. In 2024 he was interviewed by Otros Aires Tango Xalapa, and his tours and workshops were listed on his own website ^[7]. A dance-video listing records him with more than twenty partners ^[1].

Early years

One source dates Inza's start in tango to 1992 ^[2]. The same source notes that another account places his start at about 1990, so the year is disputed ^[2].

Inza's first invitations to teach and perform at festivals came in 1999 ^[2].

Practica X (2004–2013)

In 2004 Inza co-founded Practica X with Raúl Masciocchi and Gabriel Bortnik ^[3]. The practica's blog lists an event on 30 January 2007 at Anchorena 641, where Inza danced with Eugenia Parrilla ^[4].

Practica X closed in January 2013, after operating for almost nine years ^[3].

Performances

On 30 August 2008 Inza danced with Parrilla at the closing of a Naveira-Anne seminar held at La Manufactura Papelera ^[5]. This performance is recorded in an account of demonstrations in the milongas of Buenos Aires ^[5].

Earlier, on 30 January 2007, he had danced with Parrilla at Practica X, Anchorena 641 ^[4].

Later career

In 2023 Inza started Practica Brava in Berlin with Laura Lorenzi, beginning with the 2023-24 season ^[6].

In 2024 Otros Aires Tango Xalapa interviewed Inza in an online session, and his website listed his tours and workshops ^[7].

A dance-video listing records Inza dancing with the following partners ^[1]: - Eugenia Parrilla ^[1] - Yamila Ivonne - Maria Mondino - Mariana Dragone - Mariela Sametband - Moira Castellano - Soledad Larretapia - Noelia Hurtado - Sofia Saborido - Anabella Diaz Hojman - Solange Chapperon - Cecilia Garcia - Sol Cerquides - Lucía Conde de Ben - Jimena Hoeffner - Letizia Messina - Milena Plebs - Antonella Terrazas - Nazarena Colombo - Veronica Alvarenga - Paola Mottillo ^[1]
