Martha Anton

Martha Anton (also given as Marta Antón) was a tango dancer and teacher, born on 31 May 1939 and recorded as having died on 7 February 2015 [5][2]. She danced with Luis Grondona in the 1990s, including in the film Funes, un gran amor and on Alan Parker's Evita, and taught canyengue with him at Galería del Tango [2][4].

Martha Anton was a tango dancer whose recorded activity spans teaching, film work and partnerships with several dancers [1][2]. Her name appears in the sources both as Martha Anton and as Marta Antón [1][2].

In 1986, together with Antonio Todaro, she received the first group of 22 Dutch students from Amsterdam [3]. During the 1990s she worked with Luis Grondona on film projects, and in 1999 the two taught canyengue at Galería del Tango [2][4]. She died on 7 February 2015 [2].
