Embrujamiento · Ricardo Malerba · 1943

What an unforgiving spell is this love! Your love! from which I cannot free myself. What mad and cruel force drives me to you, not seeing that I can never save myself? What magic is in your mouth red as a curse that bewitches and burns me? Even knowing that your heart is not mine. Why do I want to hate you if I only know how to live loving you more and more? Your love is fire in my veins and it's insomnia in my nights. Your love is a condemnation that blesses your name. I want to forget you and I call you, I want to hate you and I adore you, I want to drown you in my arms, and when I look into your eyes I implore you, I implore you crying for forgiveness.
